Talking Tees Valley: Dickensian Christmas

Each month we use objects and photos from our museums in the Tees Valley to take a closer look at the lives and stories from people in our area.

Its Christmas and this month we are looking into the festive stories written by Charles Dickens, from his writing of ‘A Christmas Carol’ to others that he wrote in the ensuing years. We will also investigate what a Victorian Christmas looked like and share some fun parlour games.
