To take part in the exhibition visitors were asked to choose one object from the museum they were connected to, sketch it and most importantly tell us why they had chosen it.

The chosen entries were given the chance of working with a local artist to re-create their object that would be part of the Museum by Me exhibition.

The families and artists worked hard and produced some fabulous pieces that were inspired by Tees Valley Museums collections.The exhibition was due to launch at Preston Park Museum in April, despite Coronavirus forcing our museums to close we still wanted to share the work of our families with you through some short videos.
