The Bridges, 2025

Bridges, made from recycled materials.

KS2 children from High Clarence Primary School have worked with artist Bub Bacon to look at the bridges around their area that span the River Tees. They have looked closely at the different shapes and designs of the bridges and their different uses. The children’s school overlooks the transporter bridge and have been so eager to share their knowledge of the bridges and to help Bub to create their own recycled bridges.

The children have worked hard to make these amazing bridges which are now all on display at Preston Park Museum along with some interesting facts that the children have found out.
