Talking Tees Valley Pack: 1970s

01 May 2024

Each month we use objects and photos from our museums in the Tees Valley to take a closer look at the lives and stories from people in our area.

This month we look back at Middlesbrough in the 1970s. The Cleveland Centre had just been built and the centre of town was the place to shop! We’ll also look into the fashions and hairstyles of the time, and how we entertained ourselves with the latest technology.

In this pack we explore Middlesbrough in the 1970’s. This activity pack contains images, discussion points and activities for you to enjoy.

You can download your pack here: 1970s Talking Tees Valley Pack (Word)
