Talking Tees Valley Pack: The Pioneering Spirit of Katherine Routledge

07 April 2025

Each month we use objects and photos from our museums in the Tees Valley to take a closer look at the lives and stories from people in our area.

This month we are looking at the pioneering spirit of Katherine Routledge, an explorer from Darlington who went on an adventure to Easter Island (also known as Rapa Nui) in the early 1900s.

This activity pack contains images, discussion points and activities for you to enjoy.
