Talking Tees Valley Pack: RNLI

02 April 2024

Each month we use objects from our museums in the Tees Valley to take a closer look at the lives and stories from people in our area.

This month we look at the 200 Year Anniversary of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). We will tell the story of the founding of the RNLI, the stories of the Zetland and Sir James Knott, and show you how to make your own paper boat.

In this pack we explore Linthorpe Art Pottery, once based in Middlesbrough in the 1880s. This activity pack contains images, discussion points and activities for you to enjoy.
