Talking Tees Valley: The Bombardment of the Hartlepools

31 October 2022

Each month we use objects and photos from our museums in the Tees Valley to take a closer look at the lives and stories from people in our area.

In this pack we are looking at the Bombardment of the Hartlepools through poetry, images and the voices of those who lived through the event.

This Remembrance Day (11th November) we are looking at the Bombardment of the Hartlepools which took place in December 1914. We worked with poet Sarah York on this pack to remember through poetry the events of the bombardment.

This activity pack contains images, discussion points and activities for you to enjoy.
