Paper bag from Who-Ray with Dalek drawn on (2024)

Accessioned in 2024, This paper bag with a colourful Dalek drawn on from local business Who-Ray.

Who-Ray is a local business on Stockton Highstreet. The shops bags feature unique, hand-drawn artwork from Martin, co-owner of the shop.
He often includes geeky elements, true to the shops nature – such as daleks and other characters.

This bag was collected along with other objects during the 2024-2025 Pioneers of Pride campaign with Preston Park Museum & Grounds.
It’s now on display in the open store of the Spence Building.
