Thinking about the environment?

07 September 2021

Museums are passionate about the urgent need to live more sustainably and this Autumn and Spring two of our temporary exhibitions provide fantastic opportunities to talk about this with students.

Why not come along to our FREE twilight online CPD session ‘wild ideas for change’?

Bottled Oceans at the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum raises issues of single use plastic and pollution of our seas. The Lost Words at Kirkleatham highlights that as we lose our connection to nature, we put both nature and ourselves in danger. Many of our curriculum topic workshops can also be used to prompt sustainability conversations. See our poster below for more details.
