Description:

The story of the Bombardment of Hartlepool on 16th December 1914 is a significant event locally and nationally. This workshop that explores the events of 16th December 1914. Children will be inspired by a painting showing the event, take part in object handling and literacy activities.

Planning a visit:

Our school workshops are available to book between Monday to Friday between 10am and 2.30pm subject to availability.

All our workshops are currently free for schools.

We can accommodate one class per visit as standard but contact us if you need more capacity.

We do not have a dedicated lunch space inside our venue. There is a pedestrianised area with seating available outside in front of the Gallery, seating pads are available upon from request from the Gallery Reception Desk.

Pre-booking is essential.
