Taking inspiration from 19th century literature and our own atmospheric station, students will begin to create a story set in Victorian Darlington. They will meet actors playing key Industrial Revolution characters, Mr Stephenson and Mr Pease, and talk to them about how they research and develop roles.

Students enhance the impact of their writing through professional input and deepen their understanding of Britain as the first industrial nation.
