In this interactive workshop students explore Victorian and Edwardian style toys and games. Through handling genuine objects and having a go with authentic replicas students can compare toys from the past with the things they play with today. The session finishes with a chance for students to make a toy of their own to take back to school.

Our school workshops are available to book between Monday to Friday between 10am and 2.30pm subject to availability.

All our workshops are currently free for schools.

We can accommodate one class per visit as standard but contact us if you need more capacity.

We do not have a dedicated lunch space inside our venue. There is a pedestrianised area with seating available outside in front of the Gallery, seating pads are available upon from request from the Gallery Reception Desk.

Pre-booking is essential.
